Bella-Colanna Etna Rosso 2024
From £42.95
Why Mark chose this
In 1999, Marco de Grazia came to Etna in search of more producers to add to his portfolio. He was immediately struck by the singularity and potential of the volcanic terrain and its varieties and purchased his first vineyard on that same trip. His first vintage was 2002 and he spent the following two decades growing his Tenuta delle Terre Nere estate to almost 45 hectares. In 2025 he sold a stake of the company but retained ownership of a selection of prime vineyard parcels around the ‘Calderana Sottana’ contrada on the northern slopes of Etna. These include the ‘Bella Colonna’ plot, which lends its name to his new range of organic, single-vineyard wines.
