Wines from Valle del Maule

The Maule Valley is one of Chile's oldest and largest wine regions, well south of Santiago, where old bush vines and a cooler, wetter climate are producing some of the country's most interesting wines. Alongside good-value Merlot and Cabernet, the region's ancient Carignan and Pais vines have made it a favourite of adventurous winemakers.
