Wines from Provence

Provence is rosé's homeland: the sun-soaked stretch of southern France where pale, dry pink wine was perfected. The best examples are delicate but far from dull: redcurrant and peach fruit, fresh herbs and a saline finish that calls for food, sunshine and company. There is more to the region than rosé, but what a thing to be famous for.
