Wines from Oregon
Oregon's Willamette Valley has become one of the world's most respected homes for Pinot Noir outside Burgundy: supple, perfumed wines from a cool, marginal climate. Well worth exploring.

About Oregon
Oregon's Willamette Valley is cool, wet and marginal in the way the best Pinot Noir country tends to be, and it has spent fifty years establishing that Burgundy is not the only place the grape says something.
The wines are perfumed and savoury rather than sweet-fruited, with the acidity to age. The Chardonnay, less talked about, is often just as good.
