Wines from Alsace

Alsace sits in France's north-east corner, sheltered by the Vosges mountains, and makes some of the most food-friendly white wines anywhere: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and the exuberant Gewurztraminer. The wines are aromatic but almost always dry, precise and built for the table. If you haven't explored Alsace lately, you are in for a treat.
