Tbilvino

Tbilvino is one of Georgia's established commercial wine producers, making wines in a more modern, internationally recognisable style alongside the country's traditional qvevri-aged wines. Georgia is widely considered the cradle of wine, with a winemaking history stretching back at least 8,000 years, and Saperavi is its great indigenous red grape: deeply coloured, tannic, and full of dark fruit.

Tbilvino works with Saperavi in a stainless steel-fermented style that emphasises freshness and fruit rather than extended skin contact or tannin extraction, giving a more approachable, fruit-forward result. It is an honest introduction to a grape variety that deserves more attention outside Georgia's borders.
