About Fattoria Mancini
Marche, Italy
Fattoria Mancini farms a remarkable spot: twenty hectares inside the Monte San Bartolo natural park, on cliffs above the Adriatic near Pesaro. The family has been here since 1861, and their vineyards include Pinot Noir first brought to these hills in the Napoleonic era. After two centuries it has become something genuinely local.
The wines are cool, fresh and individual, shaped by the sea below and the north-facing slopes. Their Pinot Noir, made as both red and white, is unlike anything else in the Marche, and the whole range has a quiet confidence about it.
