Conti Costanti

Conti Costanti is one of the truly historic estates of Montalcino. The Costanti family has been part of the town's story since the sixteenth century, and they were among the earliest producers of what became Brunello. Andrea Costanti has run the estate since the 1980s from the Colle al Matrichese vineyards just outside the town.

The style here is classical Brunello: elegant, perfumed Sangiovese with fine tannins and remarkable staying power. The Vermiglio Rosso di Montalcino offers the same breeding in an earlier-drinking form.
