Jaen Wines

Jaen is the Dão's name for the grape Spain knows as Mencia. It makes supple, aromatic reds with raspberry fruit and a gentle herbal note, lighter on its feet than you might expect from Portugal. It usually appears in blends alongside Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro, where it brings the perfume.
