Garganega Wines

Garganega is the grape behind Soave, one of Italy's most graceful white wines. Grown on the hills east of Verona, it gives delicate wines of almond blossom, lemon and gentle stone fruit that sharpen beautifully alongside a plate of fish. Unfairly dismissed in the past thanks to mass-produced versions, good Garganega is a quiet classic, well worth rediscovering.
